My background might surprise you. It’s definitely not the traditional route into interior design, but now I see that as a strength.

 

Growing up in North Wales, I was surrounded by nature, colour and creativity. As a child, you’d always find me drawing, painting and creating. But here's something interesting, even then, I noticed how different homes made me feel.

 

I grew up in a home full of colour and personality, so when I visited homes with white walls, I couldn’t understand why there wasn’t any colour. Looking back, I realise it was never really about the walls themselves and more about how the rooms felt. I sensed that some people simply made do within their surroundings rather than feeling worthy of creating a home they truly loved.

 

That thought stayed with me.

 

I spent 15 years as a Forensic Scientist before taking the leap, and starting my design business, Jennifer Quinn Interiors back in November 2024. Along the way, I developed an exceptional eye for detail, worked to high standards and gained a deep understanding of people and how they live.

 

Today, I combine creativity, colour theory and problem solving to create homes that don’t just look beautiful, but change how you feel within them.

 

Your home should do more than just allow you to function. It should support you, inspire you and bring more joy to your everyday life.
